Mathias Hounkpe is a PhD Doctor in Mathematics since 1997 but is more and more attracted by political science. His interests in this field are on accountability in New Democracies issues. More specifically, he is interested in assessing how accounting for country-specific factors in designing accountability mechanisms, can help improve the current level of accountability in some New Democracies.
